Welcome! I am the proud Colorado State Senator representing Senate District 26 which covers most of South Metro Denver area; Bow Mar, West Centennial, Cherry Hills Village, Columbine Valley, Englewood, Littleton, Sheridan, and now, Greenwood Village and parts of Aurora.
Are you tired of the partisan politics today? Me, too. That's why I made a commitment to you four years ago, and have kept that commitment, to work across the aisle in the Colorado State Senate. In fact, 97% of all of my bills throughout my tenure so far have had bipartisan support.
And, because of that bipartisan approach, I’ve been recognized by many as one of the most productive legislators at the Capitol.
As a single mom and businesswoman, I believe we’ve all got to work together to find collaborative common-sense solutions. We’re focused on our families, our jobs, and living in a community that’s safe and enjoyable.
That’s why I decided to run for the Senate four years ago. And it’s the main reason I was able to get so much done during my first term. I’ve worked with legislators on both sides of the aisle to support Colorado businesses, children, families, and veterans.
Four years ago, I promised to stand up for our common Colorado values and to seek solutions that work for all of us by listening to constituents and representing our district fairly. I believe I lived up to that commitment. And I promise to continue doing so in my next term.
There’s nothing that helps me more than connecting with the people who live in our district. So, please join me at one of my regular town halls. As with ALL of my town halls, these are nonpartisan events. I believe they are part of my service to you as your Senator; informing you of the happenings at the Capitol and connecting you to resources you might need. It’s also your opportunity to ask questions or talk about what’s on your mind. Below, is the list of my regular town halls. I hope to see you at one of them!
