HB 14-1273 Human Trafficking
Aligns Colorado human trafficking laws with federal laws & establishes a Human Trafficking Task Force to reduce child, sex, and labor trafficking.

Extends the “Colorado Licensing of Controlled Substances Act” until 2025, making improvements in systems and enforcement.
HB 14-1271 Mental Health Duty to Warn Target Entities

 HB 14-1283 Modifying Prescription Drug Monitoring Program
Colorado is #2 in the US in prescription abuse and overdose! Improves the electronic prescription drug monitoring program to reduce prescription abuse and overdose.
HB 14-1093 Creative District Loan Fund
Creates the Creative District Community Loan Fund.  Loans are available to fund the development and construction of commercial projects and community facilities for creative industries

SB 14-029 Paint Stewardship Program
Reduces burden on local government by establishing an industry-led solution to properly recycle paint
SB 201 Child Protection Ombudsman Advisory Work Group

This bill will reform and repurpose the Child Protection Ombudsman Advisory Work Group to create a detailed plan to create accountable autonomy for the Child Protection Ombudsman. The Office of the Child Protection Ombudsman provides an objective resource to help protect children at risk and have impartial oversight, accountability, and recommendations for the child welfare system



SB 14-088 Suicide Prevention Commission
Entity for statewide suicide prevention and intervention efforts to reduce the number of suicide deaths and suicide attempts in the state. 
Colorado is ranked 8th in the nation for suicide deaths!
SB 14-133 Licensing of Private Investigators
Requiring licensing of PI’s to protect consumers and enhance the professionalism of the industry.                
Colorado is one of only 6 states in the US without mandatory licensing.
SB 14-205 Advanced Industries Talent Pipeline
Creates statewide infrastructure to address the need for more advanced industries employees. IT companies are needing to go out of state and out of the country to find the skill sets they need.
SB 14-160  Transitional Housing for Persons with Traumatic Brain Injury
